Location

35 Kilometers south west of Dinan and located in the very centre of a quiet village, the cottage has been fully renovated to a comfortable standard. Situated as it is only 25 miles South-west of the ancient walled city of Dinan and the beautiful Rance river it offers a unique opportunity to discover this area of Brittany.

The large town of Merdrignac, is only 6 miles away and offers a public swimming pool, restaurants and good shopping facilities. The local bar and convenience shop opposite the house are always ready with a friendly welcome for our guests.

Brittany prides itself on the quality of its beaches and golf courses, many of which are within easy reach of the house, other amenities include lakes, rivers, fishing, sailing and beautiful forests for long peaceful walks.

Accommodation

The ground floor comprises of living/dining room with comfortable seating for all, oak dining table with seating for 6, a well appointed kitchen area with gas cooker, toaster, kettle, cafetiere and microwave. The Shower and WC are on this level. Also on the ground floor there is a third bedroom which also has a double bed. The first floor comprises of 1 double bedroom with cot and 1 twin bedroom. All beds have quilts and English pillows. All bedrooms are heated by electric convector heaters for extra comfort during the low season, but no bed linen or towels are provided.

General heating is provided by a wood burning stove set in the fireplace with an ample supply of seasoned logs. The house is fully insulated including double glazed windows. Facilities include fridge-freezer, washing machine, high chair, iron and ironing board and radio/CD/cassette player.

A safe enclosed garden at the front of the property overlooks the village square "The hub of French village life" and has garden furniture, and a barbecue, there is also off road parking at the front for one car.

An excellent holiday choice for all the family. This is a house and setting to be enjoyed.
