A quiet, spacious and charming retreat close to Saint Brice en Coglès. Can accommodate up to 10.

Location

An attractive house, off the beaten track and close to the village of Saint Brice en Coglès which is about 45 minutes from St Malo. The house is at the end of a small, narrow lane and stands in its own grounds. As you pass through the double gates onto the drive, which is bordered by mature conifers you will begin to appreciate this holiday retreat. Le Haut Rochulé has electric heating and is available at any time during the year.

Accommodation

Accommodation suitable for disabled guestsThere is a twin bedroom on the ground floor with its own en-suite shower and WC. It has been specifically designed for guests who are disabled or who have mobility problems. If you would like further information before booking please contact us via e-mail.

This spacious house has much to offer the discerning guest. In the lounge there is a traditional granite-built fireplace and comfortable furniture in which to relax.

The kitchen has its own dining area and offers ample room for those occasions when the dining table feels too large or formal. The kitchen has a hob and full size oven, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee maker, and the essential cutlery, plates etc.

Apart from the en-suite shower room there is also a separate WC on the ground floor.

On the first floor there are two double and one twin bedded rooms. The double-bedded rooms each have a further single bed for larger parties. There is a good sized shower room in which is also installed the washing machine, On this first floor you will also find a bathroom and separate WC & a good sized shower room in which is also installed the washing machine.

The garden is enclosed by a fence, mainly covered with hedging and climbing plants. Within the property there is a large lawned garden area and a comfortable paved area with patio table and chairs for alfresco meals, together with a barbeque, all of which will, we hope, help you to enjoy your stay.

A short drive will take you to many places of interest, such as Antrain (close to the Forest of Villecartier), Fougères (with its ancient castle), Rennes (the capital city of Brittany with medieval and renaissance buildings), Mont St Michel (the world famous heritage site with its monastery perched on a rocky islet), Dol de Bretagne (a busy tourist town with cathedral) , Dinan (a charming town with cobbled streets and timber-fronted old buildings), St Malo (thriving port with aquarium, zoo and other attractions).
