Description

"Le Portail" is a renovated property standing in 2 acres of private child secure grounds. Situated on the outskirts of a 3 star floral village but within easy reach of the A84 autoroute that enables easy driving to all places of interest in this magical region. All our 4 bedrooms are ensuite a bonus for guests. Fully equipped farmhouse kitchen that also has a large screen tv. Spacious sunny dining room. Comfortable lounge with large screen tv., selection of dvds, videos and books. This homely property gives priority to the safety of your children and offers toys galore for all ages. Very popular with the youngsters are the swings and slide these are situated in the corner of our meadow. Trust us your children will never be bored - helping you also to have a restful time. As an added bonus we offer private gentle rides on our pony, Jokha, he has proved to be a great success over the years. For this a small fee. (€6) Egg collecting is also a great favourite with young and old. Last but not least our above ground pool with child secure decking designed by us. This is always in constant use throughout the day and pool toys are available for you all to enjoy. Garden furniture, picnic tables with sunshades not forgetting the important barbecue for those idylic evening meals.

Location

We are ideally situated for exploring this magical region. Within walking distance we have many walks through woodland areas. Clean beaches are 45 minutes scenic drive. The famous Le Mont St. Michel is 30 minutes drive away and is the second most visited place in France after the Eiffel Tower. A list of local markets is provided. Many towns of great interest are a pleasant drive away, too many to list, but information of these will be found in "Le Portail" plus we will be available to offer any information required. As an added bonus we will let you know of any local activities taking place during your stay.

Large screen television. Smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm and electric fly killer.

DINING ROOM - Large dining table/chairs, 2 high chairs, tea and coffee maker and other breakfast items.


LOUNGE - Soft furnishings, coffee tables. Large screen television with extensive selection of family/childrens videos and dvds. Our collection of books cover a wide variety of subjects for you to enjoy. Each season new brochures, leaflets and maps are on hand to help you choose places of interest for all the family. Within this room we have a downstairs toilet and hand basin.


ALL FOUR BEDROOMS ARE ENSUITE


* The ensuite Master bedroom that has original wood flooring, offers guests a double bed with underneath drawer space. Two single beds. Lightweight duvets and bedding supplied. A cot or an infant bed can, on request, be placed in this bedroom. Ample hanging space. The ensuite offers a corner bath, handbasin and a toilet. Tower rail and mirrored medicine cabinet. This bathroom has a tiled floor and walls.


The Whale Bedroom. This ensuite bedroom offers guests a double bed and a 2'6" single bed. Lightweight duvets and bedding supplied. A cot or infant bed can be added if necessary. Ample hanging and drawer space. This bedroom offers you a shower, toilet, bidet and hand basin. Electric air ventilation. Velux window. Fitted carpet.


The Butterfly Bedroom offers a double bed with drawers underneath. Single bed. Ample hanging and drawer space. The floor is carpeted. This bedroom offers you a shower, toilet, bidet and hand basin. Electric air ventilation. Velux window. Fitted carpet.


* The Duck Bedroom offers a double bed with drawers underneath. Single bed, cot or infant bed. Ample hanging and drawer space. This bedroom offers you a shower (with curtain) toilet and hand basin. Electric air ventilation. Fitted carpet. Velux window and small side window looking onto private parking area.


All bedrooms that have an asterix can be altered to your requirements and should be mentioned on booking to ensure everything is in place for your arrival.

Private off road parking for up to 6 cars on our gravel drive.
