Description

"L'Abeille Noire" cottage is located at Les Bois 2km from the the village of Lanhelin in Brittany, France. Situated in the countryside in a small hamlet, it is peaceful but not isolated.Cobac Parc, one of the major leisure attractions in the area, is just a two minute walk from the cottage. A car is recommended to enjoy the surrounding countryside.

This two bedroom cottage sleeps two adults and two children (or 4 adults) The property has extensive gardens with fruit trees and wild life. For the children there is a plunge pool and a small garden play area with a sand bit and swings. For the adults, there is a Hot Tub to wind down and relax.We have a selection of board games, books and DVDs which you are welcome to borrow at any time during your stay. Included in the accommodation rental is all bedding with a weekly change of linen. Tea towels and hand towels are also included and bath towels are available at small charge.

Garden furniture is provided and use of a BBQ is available free of charge. You can enjoy an al-fresco meal in our beautiful garden whilst listening to the bird song and watching the butterflies.

Location

L'Abeille Noire is located near the small village of Lanhelin only 30 min drive from St.Malo ferry terminal. Many attractions and beautiful beaches of Cote d'Emeraude are within short driving distance and. The area has something to offer for everyone.

The village of Lanhelin is 2 kms from the cottage. In the village there are two bars, a minimarket, a bakery, post office, hairdressers and a garage. There is also a public tennis court. Cobac Parc, one of the main attractions in the area is only a two minute walk from L'Abeille Noire. It has water slides, mini golf, bouncy castles and much more.

Combourg, 8 km from the cottage, is a beautiful town with a lake and a chateau. Combourg offers many activities (public swimming pool, park, sport facilities) and shops as well as a selection of fantastic restaurants.

Both St.Malo and Dinan with their historic sights, shops and restaurants are within 30 min drive.

Other places nearby that are worth of a visit are La Bourbansais Zoological Park & Chateau, Domaine des Ormes, Dol-de-Bretagne, Nearby there are lovely walks by the canal and Foret de Villecartier with tree climbing.

Accommodation

L'Abeille Noire is a 2 bedroom cottage. The sitting room with a open plan kitchen and dining area has a TV (British Channels) and a DVD player. It is furnished to a high standard with two comfortable leather sofas and a dining table and chairs.

The open plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge, gas hob/oven , microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster and it offers ample cupboard and storage space. Crockery, glassware, pots and pans, cutlery and utensils are all provided. An iron and an ironing board are also provided in the cottage.

A spiral staircase leads up to the first floor where the bedrooms are located. For the safety of the children there are stairgates both on the bottom and top of the staircase. The master bedroom with double bed has access to the balcony overlooking the beautiful garden. The second bedroom is ideal for children sharing as it offers accommodation in two single bunk beds. The bunk beds are big enough for adults as well.
The bathroom with undertile heating offers a shower, WC and wash basin. We can also provide a potty/toilet seat for the tiny tots.
A full size travel cot, a booster seat, a baby bath, a changing mat and a stroller type pushchair are available at no additional cost.
