Description

This 5 bedroom stone built house offers comfortable open plan living with oak beams and an open fire.

Outside, the rear garden is graveled & landscaped. Ideal for a peaceful read. The front is grassed & there is plenty of room for children to play.

The garden has a terrace, barbecue and hammock, and there is off road parking for 3+ vehicles.

Location

The local area provides numerous walks, safe cycling and water sports for the whole family.

Close by is the enchanting 14th century chateau town of Josselin with its half timber houses, bars and restaurants. Not forgetting the lively Saturday morning market.

The bustling town of Ploermel is a 10min drive and offers a commercial centre.

The designated cycle track, Voie Verte, is only a 2min ride, with 52km of safe cycling for all the family, running from Mauron in the north to the historic market town of Questembert in the south.

10 minutes away is the largest lake in Brittany, Lac au Duc, where you can find a wide variety of water sports, manmade beach which has a safe bathing area, pedalos, plus bars and a water toboggan for the little ones.

There is also a golf course on the other side of the lake.

Virtually on our doorstep is the Forest de Broceliande, where Merlin reputedly lived and is steeped in legends of King Arthur and the Lady of the Lake.

Accommodation

The modern fitted kitchen with a French feel is fully equipped for all of your needs with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, microwave, oven and hob with extractor fan.

Dining area, extending table allows seating for 10 people plus highchair.
The ground floor also has a twin bedroom, bathroom and separate WC.

There is a supply of logs for the fire and gas central heating if required.
