A Rural location with river on-site, detached property with large garden, Private outdoor swimming pool, children's swings.
The Farmhouse has 3 bedrooms; master with double bed and en-suite facilities, 1 double and 1 twin bedded, large bathroom with bath and shower over, sink, separate wc, very large kitchen diner with large gas family cooker, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, micro-grill, kitchen pine table and chairs, TV with satellite and DVD. Off kitchen open plan lounge area with settees, TV with DVD player. Outside patio area with table and chairs, own swimming pool with loungers, bar-b-que and views across garden to fields beyond and river access.
Cots and highchairs are available at not cost, but please advise at time of booking. The master bedroom has a large, french double-bed, very large wardrobe and drawers plus chair. It also has an en-suite bathroom consisting of a shower cubicle, sink and WC. Across the landing there is a further large bathroom with bath and shower over, sink and a separate WC. Down 5 stairs onto landing 2 and there is a double-bedroom, again with french bed, which has a feather mattress, large wardrobe with internal shelves. The 3rd bedroom has twin-beds, dressing table and wardrobe. Downstairs there is a further WC, large kitchen/diner, which is fully fitted with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, large family gas cooker, micro-grill etc. Off the kitchen area you will find a small lounger with settees, TV with DVD player.
Rural position a few miles from the village of Erce en Lamee, the towns of Bain de Bretagne and Chateaubriant are within a 15 minute drive. Ideally l ocated to explore the surrounding regions, wine taste at Vallet, visit one of the many chateaux in the Loire, or just shop locally at one of the weekly markets held in Bain de Bretagne or Chateaubriant. Ten pin bowling, horse riding, swing golf are all within a short drive. Drive to the coast, around 1 1/2 hours away, visit the Historic town of Nantes or Angers both within 1 hours drive.
Erce en Lamee is situated about 10 mins drive from Chateaubriant. Here you will find the local bar tabac, bakers shop, post office, local church and a small supermarket. You can bike along the old railway line from Erce to Chateaubriant! Just a few minutes drive away and you will find Teillay. Be sure when visiting this village to look at the various shop signs hanging at first floor level! They all depict what the trade is all about. You will find a bar-restaurant, bar tabac, the Mairie (visit for information on the area), garage etc. There are also Lakes to walk around or again to fish (obtain your licence from the bar tabac).
Another small town a short drive from La Pillerie is Bain de Bretagne. You will find many restaurants to suit every taste, shops, boating lake, in fact you could spend many an hour just browsing all that is on offer. They hold a street market on Monday mornings. Take a visit to Guerche de Bretagne and see their market on Tuesday mornings. Golf, 9 holes, can be found at Treffieux (RN 171), while swing golf, 18 holes, can be found in Rouge.
